THE SHOOT DAY
Guns are transported in our specifically converted gun bus to the first drive, commencing at about 9:30am. You may use your own four-wheel drive vehicles if preferred, weather and ground conditions permitting.
Two drives will generally take place followed by elevenses in the field, subject to weather conditions.
A further drive will then take place before returning to the shoot lodge for lunch.
Alternatively, guns can choose to shoot through and dine at the end of the day. After lunch, one or two drives will take place depending on the bag size.
At the end of the day guns return to the shoot lodge for tea, with home made cake or toasted crumpets.
Head Keeper James Hancock will be on hand to present each Gun with a complimentary brace of pheasants or partridge.
